What is a song lyrics print
A Vale Crafted song lyrics print takes the words of a song you choose and arranges them into a circular spiral, designed to look like a vinyl record. The label at the centre carries the song title and artist, plus any short personalisation you'd like to add — names, dates, or a short message.
The lyrics themselves are printed onto premium matte paper using a foil-bonding technique, and then we manually apply metallic foil to the print and run each one through a heat press to fix the foil to the page. This is the part of our work that's genuinely hand-crafted in the UK — every lyrics print passes through our hands at the foil stage.
Gold or silver — choosing your foil
We offer two foil options: metallic gold and metallic silver.
Gold foil carries the warmth of traditional anniversary symbolism — the 50th anniversary is the golden anniversary, and gold suits first dances, wedding songs, and any gift where you want a feeling of celebration and warmth. Gold pairs especially well with darker poster colours (black or navy).
Silver foil carries a cleaner, more modern feel. The 25th anniversary is the silver anniversary, and silver suits younger couples, contemporary interiors, and gifts where you want subtlety rather than warmth. Silver pairs especially well with white or navy posters.
If you can't decide, here's the rule of thumb most of our customers land on: gold for anniversaries and weddings, silver for birthdays and modern interiors.

Once you've chosen your foil, you'll choose the rest of the look:

- White frame, navy poster — a popular middle ground; the foil stands out cleanly against the navy
- White frame, black poster — striking, contemporary, suits monochrome interiors
- Black frame, white poster — classic and clean

- Black frame, black poster — the most dramatic option, with maximum foil contrast

Order before midday on a working day and we'll usually dispatch the same day; orders placed later will go the following working day. We frame and dispatch from our UK studio via Royal Mail Tracked.
